Sari Rose Poll, Lyric Project

SARI ROSE BARRON is dedicated to bringing expression through the arts to youth in at-risk communities, schools, and juvenile detention centers.

In addition to working with the Skylight Theatre Company, she teaches and creates lyric-writing, improv/theatre, and musical theatre curriculum through other organizations such as The Unusual Suspects, All the Arts for All the Kids, Musical Theatre West, Laguna Playhouse, Peace4Kids, and The Johnny Mercer Foundation. She co-created and Associate Directed Free Style, a production based on a lyric-writing program targeting at-risk youth in Los Angeles for ASCAP, Jason Alexander, and Reprise Theatre Company at the Ford Amphitheatre. She has served as Musical Theatre West's Education Director, as Program Coordinator and Teaching Artist for The Johnny Mercer Foundation and Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, and as Reprise Theatre Company's Education Manager. Sari has also taught acting at The Laguna Playhouse.

Other credits: Annie Get Your Gun (Annie) Pajama Game (Babe), Cinderella (Portia), Love According to Luc. TV/Film: ED (NBC), Sunset Players Musical Web Series, The Awkward Stage, Wolves, and a cabaret in affiliation with BRAVO TV.

Sari has an MS in Counseling from CSUF and is working towards her MFT license and certificate in Drama Therapy. BFA in Drama/Musical Theatre from NYU/Tisch, and Improv at Groundlings. She is a proud member of AEA, SAG, and a company member of ANMT.
