The Play Reading Series is a first glimpse into new projects

Projects are presented the end of each month. These "works-in-progress" may be a solo performance, a staged reading of a full-length play, poetry, music or dance - all in various stages of development and all with something to say.

The Play Reading Series is focused on developing projects and talent. Free to the writer, there are no age or topic restrictions, except that we focus on local talent and the work needs to have progressed to a point where presenting it before an audience is necessary for the creator to move their work forward.

IN-Konversation follows immediately after each Play Reading Series project. This moderator assisted Talk-Back allows the writer to immediately solicit audience feedback to further advance their project. It's a unique opportunity for the creator to ask pointed questions about what works and what doesn't.
